Portfólio da Duomo
Statoil (Botafogo)

The main challenges of the project are related to the increasing emergence of demands for space and technology.

In 2006 the first office was inaugurated on Praia de Botafogo with 21 workstations arranged individually in 800 m2. Today all the offices are gathered in four floors of the same building, occupying about 4,000 m2 and with 290 workstations.

To meet the challenge of growth associated with the business dynamics of the Norwegian oil company in Brazil: open spaces, flexibility, facilitation of connectivity and technology.

Since the first office occupied by Statoil designed workstations with shape and size inspired by the original Norwegian allowing triple the number of positions without changes in space. Secondly, four-position cells arranged according to an occupancy plane were created for flexibility, mobility for reconfigurations, and ergonomic comfort of the staff.

Complementing the fully open workspace, “quiet rooms” enable reserved thinking areas.

All meeting rooms enable digital integration at a distance. Real-time visualization rooms with 3D technology and observation rooms were created with furniture specially designed to support technological demand. There is also an emergency room for crisis contingency.

In those five years in which the original project was expanded and transformed the corporate image was kept mirroring the efficient and safe work of the company.
